...and so the Tide came in :(

I don't normally follow football, but right now the game between my alma mater (University of Arkansas) and Alabama (my BIL's choice) has just finished and it is a sad day for all Razorbacks.  Almost, but not quite :(

On to happier topics.  This morning was GORGEOUS!  Cool, clear sky, light breeze.  Went downtown to partake of the last Farmer's Market of the season.  Truth be told, this is the first one this year I have actually made it to!  Picked up a few things:  big bottle of local honey, fresh wheat bread, a small loaf of fresh banana bread (I was hungry), some green beans,  a yellow squash, a zucchini, and an eggplant.  Tomorrow for dinner, I plan on making Eggplant Parmesan...but tweaked a bit...baked, not fried.

After wandering around for an hour, went over to Cottage Knits and hung out for a little over an hour, knitting with friends and getting caught up on the latest happenings.

Returned home to knock out the weekend's to-do list.  The cats and Jack are not very happy with me right now.  They were all given their doses of Capstar and Program.

Today is also Day 5 of the Blog here we go...

Hmmmm, what could it be...

OH MY!  I'm tellin ya, Sarajewel knew what she was doing!!

What a beautiful dishcloth!  I love knitted dishcloths, they just seem to do a better job.  Love the colors too.  Blue and white are probably my favorite decorating colors, especially in the kitchen.  I collect antique Blue Willow dishes, my everday dishes are Blue Willow, most of my dishtowels are blue and white, have cobalt blue glassware, should I keep going???

This actually made me giggle.  Over the last couple of months I have managed to set fire to no less than three of my dishtowels while cooking.  Don't ask, just understand it's how I am...

These are the coolest little things!  I am forever misplacing measuring spoons and I hate how the measuring cups are bulky in the drawer.  Not so with these little cuties...they collapse for space saving...

Hmmm, I'm feeling the need to go cook something (hopefully not setting anything on fire) and play with these terrific kitchen toys/tools.  Thanks Sarajewel!
