Friday Five...

1.  I'm sad.  The Butterfly is still on needles.  BUT, I only have about 2 rows left on the shoulder shaping and it is off.  Then, placket, neckline, and sewing up.

2.  It was Jimmy John's Friday for lunch...that is always wonderful, not to mention it is family dinner night out, too.

3.  I would really like to know what the cats do all day when I am gone.  Every night, upon my return home, there are chunks...not bits or fluffs...of fur everywhere.  Oddly, none of them appear to be balding.

4.  Fingers crossed, toes crossed, eyes crossed, arms crossed...hoping to begin the laundry/craft room final transformation this weekend.  (Doubt it though... :(  supposed to be cloudy and someone has hinted at it being perfect pleasure/freezer restocking fishing weather).

5.  I did it.  I am taking the plunge to the other side.  Placed an order with Knit Picks this afternoon and am now awaiting the arrival of some lovely roving, a spindle and an assortment of other goodies.  As if I didn't already have enough things going on!

  1. Ooh! I do hope you will show off your spinning goodies when your Knitpicks package arrives. I haven't delved into spinnin yet but I hope to learn sometime.
Thanks for the pumpkin bread recipe too!

  2. 1. So close, but yet so far. There is next week, I will wait anxiously.

    2. Food for elsewhere is usually yum.

    3. In my house fur chunks means a spat has taken place.

    4. Being I'm in the desert, I would welcome some fresh caught fish.

    5. Yay!!! You're coming over to the dark side.

  3. The dark side (spinning) is fun. I'm looking forward to seeing the progress.

  4. The Butterfly will be done soon - isn't it great to finish things? It's almost as much fun as starting new things! Good luck with the spinning - it will probably feel awkward at first, but it gets better :-)
